Hi! My name is Woojin Joo and I'll be opening up a primary care clinic near Mid-City, Los Angeles.

I'm looking for a medical assistant.

Particularly, if you are looking for a position that involves handling a variety of tasks, this can be an exciting opportunity for you. Some tasks may include, calling and scheduling patients, managing phone calls, taking vitals, phlebotomy, assisting with patient forms, creating patient charts in the EHR, etc

I expect business to be slow in the beginning, so there will be enough downtime to learn as we go. This will be a good fit for someone motivated to learn as much as possible, with a start up mentality.

Some specific skills I am looking for:

Bilingual : Spanish or Korean , in addition to English

Phlebotomy experience

Comfort with learning new computer software

The clinic will open June 3rd, 2024.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, Temporary

Pay: $20.72 - $24.95 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
